If you believe you can’t, you’re right

How do you respond to challenges?

I can do this!   or   I can’t do this!

Some people approach challenges or unfamiliar situations with Possibility Thinking – others with Impossibility Thinking.

Each attitude directly affects your thinking and your actions… as well as the results you get.

Henry Ford is supposed to have said something along the lines: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right.”  And this is part true and part fuzzy thinking.

For instance, however firmly and enthusiastically you believe that you can fly or walk on water the odds are against you succeeding.

On the other hand, if you believe you can’t do something you’re unlikely to be able to do it – simply because of how our thinking works.
